The World Just Ended! Oh, wait, nevermind...

In the book of Matthew, Jesus talks about the end times and his return after The Tribulation.

"Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light," ~ Matthew 24:29

In the book of Joel, we hear that the most "terrible day" at the end of times will come when, "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come." (Joel 2:31).

Did anybody see the moon on the night of August 27, 2007? The moon was "blood red" and did not "give...light." Here is an article with a great photograph of it if you weren't aware.

So did the world end? Hardly. As far as I can tell, I am still here. What's funny is that these two spots aren't the only times it is mentioned in the bible. It is mentioned many times, and so it is obviously something god wanted to make sure we were aware of. Unfortunately, as with most of what god says, it is (excuse the term) bullshit.

"The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come: ~ Acts 2:20

Wait a minute! I know! Perhaps I am being too harsh, and perhaps there is an explanation. Yes, of course there is. It is simple.

You see, the Sixth Seal from The Book of Revelation has been broken!

"And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; ~ Revelation 6:12

Beware! We are living in the end of days!

Of course, this was claimed by every single past generations' religious leaders as well, so put whatever stock you want into that claim.
