1 just read some of the comments from your Christian readers and thought you might appreciate a little ammo in your discussions with them. I have been compiling an atheist's bible commentary at www.atheistsbiblecompanion.com. As far as I can tell, it is the most thorough and detailed critique of the Christian Bible available on the web. Points out lots of contradictions that don't appear anywhere else. Check it out and see if it helps when debating the fundies. You'll find some good quotes on bibleblunders.com as well. Good luck!
Good site. Also, check out http://skepticsannotatedbible.com. That's another great resource.
Could religion possibly be so pervasive for so long if it were not cost-efficient from the standpoint of the individual believer? The burden would be on the proponent of such an extraordinary claim to support it with extraordinary evidence.
